The VALIDATE consortium attaches great importance to protecting personal data and maintaining privacy. The personal data we collect and why

When entering your data into the online registration form we collect this data from you for the purpose of registering you for the e-learning course.

Of course, you are not required to supply any of the information that we may request. However, failure to do so may result in our being unable to register you for the e-learning course.

If you participate in the VALIDATE e-learning course, we use data that we collect from you for processing purposes, including but not limited to tracking attendance, progress, and completion of the course. We also collect from you certain student-generated content, such as assignments you submit, or feedback that you provide to other participants by using our forum. We also collect course data, such as student responses to questions and assignments. You should not include any Personally Identifiable Information or other information of a personal or sensitive nature, whether relating to you or another person, on assignments, exams, or surveys, except for information required to participate or submit such assignments, exams, or surveys.

Use and disclosure of your personal data

By submitting this registration form you consent to the processing of the entered information by the VALIDATE consortium as described in this privacy policy. The VALIDATE consortium will use the personal information to process your registration, communicate with you, and obtain your feedback with regards to the e-learning course material.

In doing so, your information may be transferred throughout the VALIDATE consortium and shared with third parties who will be providing services to assist us in offering the e-learning course, such as hosting service providers. The VALIDATE consortium will not sell or disclose your personal data to other third parties without your consent.

Controlling your personal data

You are entitled to access any personal data about you held by the VALIDATE consortium by sending a request to info@validatehta.eu. You may be required to supply a valid means of identification as a security precaution to assist us in preventing the unauthorized disclosure of your personal information. We will process your request within the time provided by applicable law.

You are also entitled to have the VALIDATE consortium modify or delete any information that you believe is incorrect or out of date, by sending a request to info@validatehta.eu.
